The ArQuS laboratory led by Prof. Francesco Scazza at the University of Trieste and CNR-INO, Italy is looking for well-qualified, highly motivated postdoctoral researcher in experimental quantum simulation and quantum many-body physics with neutral atoms. The group efforts are currently focused on on cooling, trapping and controlling ytterbium atoms with high-precision optical manipulation and spectroscopic techniques, achieving resolution down to the single atom.
