Located at Northwestern University, to join the group of Professor Enectali Figueroa-Feliciano. The successful applicant will play a leading role in the CosmiQ quantum sensing and computing initiative with Fermilab.

The Figueroa Group is currently involved in several projects involving cryogenic detectors:

CosmiQ is an R&D effort to develop qubits and related technologies for both particle sensing and quantum computing with members from Fermilab, IIT, and Northwestern.

RESEARCH SCIENTIST, Device Fabrication: Located at Northwestern University, to join the group of Professor Enectali Figueroa-Feliciano and Dan Baxter. The successful applicant will join the Figueroa Group at Northwestern, and lead the qubit and detector fabrication effort. We are building various transmon-based qubit computation and sensor devices, as well as MKIDS and TES-based detectors for particle physics. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated leadership of research groups, supervision and mentoring of students, and familiarity with successful grant writing.

We invite applications for several opportunities in experimental Quantum Information Science and Condensed Matter Physics as either a Postdoctoral or Senior Research Associate. The focus of these positions will be on the design and measurement of superconducting circuits for quantum simulation applications.

We seek a Postdoctoral Associate in Physics to lead a new startup project in the NYU’s Center for Quantum Phenomenon. The individual will lead the technology development and commercialization for a new quantum memory device originally developed in a Navy Research Lab. The goal of the project is to design a commercial version of the memory device that can store the states in a quantum computing circuit during the computation process.
