Mixture

A '''mixture''' of states is an convex combination of states, i.e. :$\backslash rho\; =\; \backslash sum\_j\; p\_j\; \backslash rho\_j$ where :$\backslash sum\_j\; p\_j\; =\; 1$ and the $p\_j\; \backslash geq\; 0$ are real. Physically this corresponds having state $\backslash rho\_j$ with probability $p\_j$.
