It is our great pleasure to announce that Asia-Pacific Conference & Workshop on Quantum Information Science 2012 (APCWQIS 2012) will be held on December 3-7th, 2012 in Putrajaya. APCWQIS 2012 is the sixth one in their respective series and is organized jointly by Institute for Mathematical Research (INSPEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) with Faculties of Science, Engineering and Computer Science & Information Technology of UPM, Universiti Malaya and International Islamic University, Malaysia. APCWQIS 2012 aims to bring together researchers and students of quantum information science from around the Asia-Pacific region and the world for an event that covers the latest developments of quantum information sciences.

This event is in part held in conjunction with the Tenth Anniversary of Institute for Mathematical Research, UPM. The conference part of the event will carry contributed papers relating to the recent progress of quantum information science. The workshop part consists of expositions by invited speakers on contemporary topics of quantum information science in relation to quantum foundations. The workshop is also double-billed as EQuaLS 6 (Expository Quantum Lecture Series 6), an annual event carried out by the Institute.
