Six PhD positions in theoretical quantum optics and quantum information science are available at the Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies (QOT) at the University of Warsaw. Successful candidates will work in a diverse environment including theorists and experimentalists on fundamental properties of quantum systems, such as quantum coherence and entanglement, and their applications in quantum technologies, such as quantum metrology, sensing, communication, and computation.
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Macquarie University (MQ) in Sydney Australia is making a substantial investment to grow its research capacity in quantum science and seeks to appoint an outstanding candidate to a continuing position as Lecturer (level B) or Senior Lecturer (level C).

We are pleased to announce that the International conference on Quantum Light Matter Interaction in Solid State System (QLIMS 2015) will be held from November 9 to 13, 2015 in Barcelona, Spain.
Postdoctoral Positions in “Quantum optics and quantum many-body effects”
The positions are within a CQT research project led by Dimitris Angelakis in the Centre for Quantum Technologies Singapore. We are looking for highly motivated candidates who preferably have a strong research background in theoretical quantum optics. Exceptional candidates from condensed matter theory (especially from strongly correlated and/or topological quantum systems) and quantum information theory will also be considered.
