QIP 2013 is the sixteenth workshop on theoretical aspects of quantum computing, quantum cryptography, and quantum information in a series that started in Aarhus in 1998 and was held in 2011 in Montréal.
The conference will take place between January 21 and January 25 2013 at Tsinghua University, Beijing, and will be hosted by the newly established Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS).
QIP 2013 will feature invited talks, contributed talks, and a poster session. In addition, there will be a rump session with short informal talks.

Dear Colleagues, Postdocs, and Students,
on behalf of the Organizing Committee we are pleased to announce the Workshop on Quantum Simulations, to be held on 22nd-25th October 2012 in Bilbao, Spain.
The Workshop aims to attract the interest of the international community on interdisciplinary quantum simulations. The event topics include fundamentals in quantum simulations, mathematical developments, and applied implementations in all physical setups: trapped ions, neutral atoms, photons, superconducting circuits, quantum dots, among others.
The deadline for registration, booking of accommodation, and submission of abstracts has been extended to Friday, 13 July 2012.
To register and submit abstracts please vist the conference web site http://quantum.ukzn.ac.za/events/quantum-africa-2
