The Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics (SITP) invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position in quantum information science. Areas of interest include core quantum information subjects such as algorithms, communication and fault-tolerance, in addition to connections with other branches of physics. The research group is led by Patrick Hayden, with active participation by other SITP researchers Xiao-Liang Qi (condensed matter), Steve Shenker (high energy theory) and Lenny Susskind (high energy theory).

Postdoctoral opportunities to work at the National University of Ireland, Galway
(NUI, Galway) in theoretical quantum computation (specific areas of interest:
