The [http://quics.umd.edu Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science] (QuICS) is seeking exceptional candidates for the [http://quics.umd.edu/postdocs QuICS Hartree Postdoctoral Fellowships in Quantum Information and Computer Science].

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the group of Prof. Alexander Korotkov at the University of California, Riverside. The subjects of theoretical research are continuous quantum measurement, quantum feedback, and error correction with superconducting qubits. The theory will be closely related to experiments performed in the group of Prof. Siddiqi at UC Berkeley.

Postdoctoral fellow openings are available to work in the areas of nonlinear and quantum optical theory of hybrid coupled systems.

Requirements :

- PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics, theoretical quantum optics, or theoretical photonics.
- An ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Postdoctoral fellows will be expected to travel regularly, presenting their results at international conferences.

Appointment :

Two postdoc positions are available in the Atom Chips group at Laboratoire Kastler Brossel, ENS Paris.

We are looking for a bright and motivated young researcher with previous experience in ultracold atom experiments, cavity QED experiments, or a related field, to join our microcavity QED team. The project focuses on multiparticle entanglement in optical fiber microcavities.
