PostDoc

Position open for a 2-year postdoc in the group “Quantum Dynamics and Control” lead by Aurelia Chenu at the University of Luxembourg. Starting date is flexible. See our group at chenulab.com

The postdoc fellow will be working on dynamics of non-Hermitian quantum systems. The applicant should be a creative and motivated researcher with knowledge of one or all of the following:
- many-body physics
- quantum optics
- quantum dynamics
- stochastic processes

RIKEN is currently accepting applications for the FY 2024 Special Postdoctoral Researcher (SPDR) Program from young, creative, independent researchers who will be a powerful force in furthering RIKEN’s research activities.

The Fellowship offers a competitive salary and independent research funds for a term of 3 years. The candidate will belong to a chosen research group at RIKEN, many of which specialize in different aspects of quantum computing and information.

I am looking for motivated scientists to join my new group at the University of Augsburg, Germany.
You will work on theoretical modeling and simulation of qubit devices.
The research topics are flexible, while there is some overlap with the main interests of the group.

The Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University Tübingen is looking to fill a

post-doc position in Quantum Information Theory

(E13 TV-L position). The position will be offered for 12 months and will have as topic the development of novel quantum algorithms, in the framework of a project funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg. One of the latest and most powerful quantum computers from IBM will be available for implementing and testing the theoretical ideas.

The research group of Prof. Wenchao Ge (https://sites.google.com/view/wenchaoge) in the Department of Physics at the University of Rhode Island invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in theoretical quantum information science and engineering (QISE). The successful candidate will conduct theoretical research at the intersection of Quantum Optics, Quantum Information, and AMO physics, with a focus on multi-parameter quantum sensing and trapped-ion quantum information processing.
