Professorship

The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (https://www.oist.jp/) invites applications for at least 3 new faculty positions in Physics and Materials Science, as part of its planned expansion of the University. All areas of Physics and Materials Science will be considered; areas of current interest include, but are not limited to: biophysics, gravitation, cosmology and astrophysics, quantum information, quantum matter, quantum technologies, soft matter, statistical physics, and ultrafast optical spectroscopy.

The Institute of Physics at the University of Sao Paulo is inviting applications for an Assistant Faculty position in the field of
Quantum Information. This includes quantum computation, quantum communication, quantum metrology, and their correspondent physical implementations, as well as the possible relations of Quantum Information Science with fundamental physics through areas such as holography and topological materials. The Institute intends to boost its presence in Quantum Information Science and this position is a first step in that direction.

MITRE is seeking highly qualified and motivated scientist/engineer to join MITRE’s Quantum “Moonshot” Program. The candidate should have intimate knowledge or experience in quantum optics and integrated photonics. In this role, you will apply your technical experience in quantum physics and photonics to develop entangled photon sources, chip-based quantum photonic circuits, or quantum optical measurement systems.

Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP), Kyoto University, Japan invites an application for a non-tenured faculty position at the associate or assistant professor level in quantum information theory or related areas in theoretical high energy physics. For details, please see
