The Faculty of Physics of the University of Vienna announces the position of a
Professor of
Theoretical Quantum Optics
(full time position under private law, limited to a period of 3 years). The University of Vienna intends to increase the number of women, particularly in high-level positions, and therefore specifically invites applications by women. The Department of Physics is seeking a scientist with an international reputation in theoretical Quantum Information Technology (QIT) to advance the University’s ground-breaking work within the field.

Salary will be within the professional range, minimum £56,467 per annum depending on skills and experience.
