The Quantum Optics in the Solid-State (QOSS) Group at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) is an experimental research group devoted to the study of light-matter interaction at the nanoscale. We are a dynamic and innovative team of experimentalists dedicated to exploring the fascinating intersection of quantum optics and novel quantum materials.
Our young group, led by Dr. Carlos Antón-Solanas, was formed in 2022 and is driven by a passion for pushing the boundaries of knowledge in the field of experimental quantum photonics. We are based at the Dep. of Physics of Materials in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, embedded in the renown semiconductor group SemicUAM. We are affiliated to the Instituto Nicolás Cabrera (INC) and the Condensed Matter Physics Center (IFIMAC).
