Relativistic Quantum Information

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to work with Dr Ivette Fuentes on an EPSRC funded project on the overlap of quantum information theory and relativity. The research is aiming at exploiting relativistic effects to improve quantum information tasks and finding applications of quantum information to foundational questions in gravity. Candidates must be confident, organised, have good communication skills and enjoy working with a variety of different people across discipline boundaries.

With the new project "Robust Quantum Information and Metrology" at Macquarie University we have two PhD scholarships to fill. In Australia a PhD is normally 3-4 years in duration and there is no coursework.
