Quantiki

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for full-time tenure-track faculty positions at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor). We particularly encourage applications in quantum computing, but also welcome applications from exceptional candidates in other areas.

Quantum computing faculty will engage with a growing campus and state-wide quantum research community through the new Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology Center (IQUIST) and the Chicago Quantum Exchange.

We are seeking a talented postdoctoral research associate to work on an experimental project looking at evaluating quantum random number generators (QRNGs). This position is funded by the EPSRC’s Quantum Communications Hub and will be based at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington (London) in the Quantum Photonics team. The project will involve developing the necessary experimental understanding, expertise and techniques to test quantum photonic QRNGs.

CQIQC Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Quantum Information and Quantum Control 2021

(Position no longer available) Postdoc position in experimental atomic physics exploring aspects of quantum control in ultra-cold neutral atom systems. We have active experiments in quantum sensing with atom interferometers, and multi-atom entanglement using interactions between ultra-cold Rydberg atoms. For more information please visit our website and contact Grant Biedermann: biedermann@ou.edu

We have several open faculty positions (tenured and tenure track) at OIST Graduate University (www.oist.jp), Okinawa, Japan.

We are currently seeking to expand further into Quantum Information Science and Engineering, with an emphasis on Quantum Optics, Quantum Cryptography, Cyber Security and Quantum Computing. Candidates outside these areas with excellent track record will also be considered.

You can see more details at: https://groups.oist.jp/facultypositions.

The Angelakis group at CQT Singapore (www.dimitrisangelakis.org) is looking for a postdoctoral research fellow with a strong research background and a PhD in quantum information with a focus on quantum algorithms and applications. Candidates from quantum simulations and quantum many-body physics, or implementations of quantum computing may also inquire as well.
