15 PhD positions (36 months) within the framework of the EU funded Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Project (Innovative Training Network ITN) MOQS (Molecular Quantum Simulations) on offer: In this exciting project, chemistry, solid state- and quantum optical physics, materials sciences as well as classical and quantum computer science are brought together to develop new and powerful technologies, with applications ranging from chemistry to the the pharmaceutical industry. Both academic and industry projects are available.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia Vancouver campus invites applications for an appointment of a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in the area of quantum algorithms, quantum information and software, and related disciplines. Application areas for quantum computers such as optimization, sensing, and artificial intelligence are also of interest.

The newly established Quantum Science and Technology Group at the University of Luxembourg is offering a PhD position and a postdoctoral position to highly-motivated, qualified and talented researchers.

The positions are available in the Chair of Theoretical Physics, held by Adolfo del Campo, in the Physics and Materials Science (PhyMS) Department at the University of Luxembourg (https://sites.google.com/site/adolfodelcampo/).
