Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

The Center for Quantum Information and Control (CQuIC, https://cquic.unm.edu/ ) at the University of New Mexico invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellow positions in theoretical quantum information science. Research at CQuIC covers a range of foundational and applied investigations on topics including quantum computation, control, measurement, communication, and simulation. Located in the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Center has contributed to research and education in quantum information theory for over 25 years.

A staff or graduate student (Ph.D.) position is available at UCLA to design a chip scale spin photon memory interface with long coherence times (full descr. below). Degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in physics or related field, and a strong background in experimental physics or engineering is required. Experience in magnetic resonance-style experiments is an asset but not required.

Dear all,

Careers in Quantum (CiQ) is a two-day event bridging the gap between skilled students in STEM disciplines and the booming quantum technology industry. With a combination of talks and panel discussion from industrial and academic experts and active networking you will find out what an engaging scientific career, both inside and outside academia, might look like for you. Casual networking sessions will give you an opportunity to connect to the industry leaders there and investigate career opportunities further.

Context: The PhD project is part of the ITN “QUDOT-TECH” (www.qudot-tech.eu), that aims to construct a platform for fully integrated on-chip quantum information (QI) processing including Quantum Dots (QD)-based single-photon sources, waveguides, nonlinearities and detectors implemented on a planar chip.

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position (1-year duration) in the theoretical Quantum Optics and Quantum Thermodynamics research group of B. Prasanna Venkatesh at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (India). Please see the following webpage for the official advertisement and more details:
