The University of Toronto Theory of Computation group invites applications for postdoctoral positions to work on theoretical computer science aspects of quantum computing and quantum information starting in Fall 2019. Topics of interest include: algorithms, complexity theory, optimization, and cryptography. We are looking for candidates with a computer science and/or mathematics background.

Research Scientist – Cambridge
The company’s Cambridge-based quantum software team are seeking to hire a post-doctoral research scientist. This is a permanent full time position. You will design quantum algorithms to solve real-world problems using current and near future quantum devices. You will work with our software development team to help realise these algorithms as part of t|ket>, our quantum software platform.

The Wilson Fellowship at Fermilab seeks applications from Ph.D. physicists of exceptional talent with at least two (2) years of post-doctoral experience. The Fellowship is awarded on a competitive basis and is intended to support outstanding assistant professor-level physicists early in their careers. It provides unique opportunities for self-directed research in experimental physics through work on the Fermilab particle physics experiment of the candidate's choice.
