Open Rank Faculty Positions in Quantum Information Science and Engineering

The College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all levels in the area of Quantum Information Science and Engineering. Within this broad area we are focusing on candidates in the areas of Quantum Computing and Communications Systems, Quantum Sensors and Metrology, Quantum Materials and Devices, as well as supporting technologies.

Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Warm Vapour Quantum Optical Memories
Department of Physics, Parks Road, Oxford
Grade 7: £31,604 - £38,833 p.a.
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Warm Vapour Quantum Optical Memories in the Ultrafast Quantum Optics Group (UFQO) led by Professor Ian Walmsley.

The post is available initially for a fixed-term duration of 12 months.

We are recruiting a postdoc researcher on quantum thermodynamics, information, and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics to join us in Germany. The project will be to further explore and experimentally test a new correspondence introduced recently by Ansari and Nazarov between entropy flow and energy fluctuations." Please apply online, or let those who might be interested know about the opportunity.

Quantum Experiments
IBM Research is seeking Research Staff Members with outstanding background in experimental quantum computing, quantum control, and microwave measurements. Candidates will focus on improving quantum gates in multi-qubit systems and are expected to work closely with theorists to model device physics and develop novel gate implementations in superconducting qubits. Rich collaboration with other members of the quantum computing team is expected.
