I am an Emmy Noether research group leader at the Free University in Berlin since February 2018. In 2012, I received my PhD in Physics from the Technical University Berlin in Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Tobias Brandes. After my PhD studies, I held a postdoctoral position in the group of Prof. Aashish Clerk at the Physics Department of McGill University in Montreal. In the following years I was an associate research scholar at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. My research interests lay in the fundamental aspects and applications of superconducting circuits and mechanical systems in the quantum regime. My current research focuses on the theory of nonreciprocal photon propagation in open quantum systems via reservoir engineering.
