The researcher will work on mathematical modeling and security analysis of CV-QKD protocols. They will develop new protocols and improve current security proofs, aiming at better system performance and suitable computational requirement, summarizing the protocol and security proof in a comprehensive way in view of standardization and certification. They will closely work with experimental partners providing theoretical support to the experimental activity.
The Centre for Quantum Technologies (Singapore) is looking for candidates with strong background in Computational Physics or Computer Sciences for software development in quantum technologies.
The University of Innsbruck invites applications for the position of a

Join us in London for an exclusive in-person celebration of a century of Quantum Physics - Past, Present, and Future
As part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, the Institute of Physics invites you to a special community celebration that traces the remarkable journey of quantum physics-from its origins to its transformative potential for the decades ahead. The two-day conference will explore both the historical context and future potential of quantum science and technology.
We are seeking a talented and motivated PhD student to work in the field of quantum information theory. The position will be based at the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (Poland) and is funded within the SONATA BIS project of the National Science Centre in Poland. The project’s leader is Remigiusz Augusiak (http://raugusiak.weebly.com/)
At Quantic group (Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Spain), we develop quantum computational techniques, software and algorithmic solutions that require quantum computers or quantum emulators. We exploit all the scientific tools at our disposal, including HPC, quantum processors and hardware, and AI techniques. We currently host a digital quantum computer, and we are in the process of installing a quantum annealer, both based on superconducting circuits technology, installed on-site and integrated with our supercomputer MareNostrum5.
Three PhD positions are available at QuTech and Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands, in the groups of Stephanie Wehner and Tim Coopmans.
The first two PhD positions have starting date 1 December 2025 and are on the following topics:
A PhD position is currently open at Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy), starting November 1 and focused on Extending the X-ray Restrained Wavefunction Approach within the Framework of Quantum Computing.
The position will have a duration of three years.
