Application deadline:
Friday, February 28, 2025
The newly established junior group Theory of Controlled Quantum Many-Body Systems at the Technical University of Berlin is pleased to invite applications for two PhD positions (3 years). The earliest starting date is 1 April 2025.
The focus of the research will be on the quantum control and simulation of topologically ordered systems. Research topics include:
- Study of topological quantum systems out of equilibrium
- Control protocols to prepare and manipulate topological order in quantum simulators
- Development of reservoir engineering techniques for many-body state preparation
- Design of autonomous quantum memories
