We are looking for excellent PhD students and postdocs to join our group (www.barzgroup.de) at the University of Stuttgart and the Center for Integrated Quantum Science and Technology (www.iqst.org).
You are interested in:
- Integrated quantum optics and quantum information processing
- International collaborations
- Interdisciplinary research at the intersection of physics, engineering, computer science, mathematics
We are looking for excellent and highly motivated
- PhD students with a MSc (or equivalent) in physics
- Postdocs with experience in experimental (quantum) optics and quantum information processing
The PhD projects and Postdoc Positions will be focused on integrated photonic quantum technology at telecoms wavelength.
The topics include:
- Development of integrated photon sources and integrated silicon circuits
- Implementation of protocols for transmission of quantum information in real-life fibre networks
- Development and implementation of concepts for networked quantum information processing
