PhD and Postdoc Positions in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics

A number of PhD and Postdoc positions are open in the newly founded
theoretical and mathematical physics group of Prof. Daniel Burgarth at
FAU in Erlangen, Germany. We are interested in quantum control, open
quantum systems and mathematical structures with applications in quantum
technology. German knowledge is not required. We hope to build a
friendly and diverse group driven by open ended curiosity and passion.
We are particularly looking for applicants with good pencil and paper
skills for analytical calculations. Applications will be considered
