PhD position in quantum information in Warsaw

We are seeking a talented and motivated PhD student to work in the field of quantum information theory in the group led by Dr. Remigiusz Augusiak (http://raugusiak.weebly.com/). The position will be based at Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (Poland) and is funded by the Foundation for Polish Science within the First Team project Self-testing protocols for multipartite quantum states.

The position is for three years and is to be filled preferably from September/October 2018.

The candidates should: (i) hold a master degree in physics or mathematics or should be close to obtaining one, (ii) have good knowledge of quantum theory, (iii) present high motivation for scientific work, and (iv) have good level of programming skills.
