Talented PhD Students are sought to join the group of A/Prof Alexei
Gilchrist at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, to work on
projects within theoretical quantum information, and in particular on
the characterisation of resourcefulness of quantum measurements and in
quantum causal discovery with noisy quantum measurements.
Fellowship opportunities are provided by the Sydney Quantum Academy
(SQA) with applications closing on September 26th. These competitive
fellowships are open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and
international applicants, and provide a stipend of AU$35,000 pa, waiver
of international tuition fees for international recipients, advanced
training in the field of quantum technology, and access to SQA career
development funding.
