Quantum Computing is one of the newest and potentially field-changing disciplines. While much research is being done on how to create quantum-based systems, software engineering for quantum computing and software-engineering using quantum computing are still in their infancy.
As a PhD student, you will perform research on Software Engineering for and with Quantum Computing systems. You will publish results in top-level conferences and journals. You will have the opportunity to teach as an assistant at the MSc level. You will work with students (MSc and PhD) as well as experienced professors. You will collaborate with partners from both academia and industry.
About you:
* You have an MSc in computer science. Any additional certificates in the area of computer science are advantageous
* You know and are passionate about Quantum Computing. Ideally you already performed research and/or taught quantum computing.
* You have a deep theoretical knowledge in Software Engineering. Initial practical experience (e.g. worked at a company) in this area is a great advantage.
* You are willing to work in a starting structure
* You want to grow as a researcher and work on this research topic
