Applications are invited for an EPSRC-funded postdoctoral position in quantum information theory at Heriot-Watt University, to work with Dr Erika Andersson on quantum digital signatures. The work concerns investigating the security of novel schemes for quantum digital signatures. The position is fixed-term and for 16 months, possibly 18 months, and the starting date is between 1 April 2013 and 31 September 2013 by mutual agreement.
The successful candidate will be part of a team working on quantum digital signatures; see P. J. Clarke et al., Nature Communications 3, 1174, 2012, or
