The Groups research areas are Quantum Information Theory and its interface with many-body physics and quantum optics. Specifically, the Group has interest in the field of quantum information science is diversified in to various topics, which broadly include:
1. Characterizing and quantifying multipartite quantum correlations in finite as well as infinite quantum systems.
2. Connecting multipartite quantum correlations to different quantum information processing tasks.
The Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics (SITP) invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position in quantum information science. Areas of interest include core quantum information subjects such as algorithms, communication and fault-tolerance, in addition to connections with other branches of physics.
A curriculum vitae, publication list, statement of research interests and three letters of recommendation are required. Applications should be uploaded to academicjobsonline.org.

ICITS 2016 - 9th International Conference on Information Theoretic Security
9-12 August 2016, Tacoma, Washington, USA.
****************************************************************************
ICITS is a conference about all aspects of information-theoretic security and brings together the leading researchers in the areas of cryptography, information theory and quantum information. It is the successor conference to the 2005 IEEE Information-Theory Workshop on Theory and Practice in Information-Theoretic Security (ITW 2005) on Awaji Island, Japan.

The Quantum Computing Lab in the Centre for Quantum Computation and Intelligent Systems at the University of Technology, Sydney invites applications for PhD positions. We currently have a range of scholarships available for Semester 1 2015 (commencing in the first few months of 2015).
QuSoft is the Dutch research Center for Quantum Software, a collaboration between the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI). Its mission is to explore and develop uses of quantum computers and other quantum technologies, for the benefit of society. The researchers at QuSoft develop algorithms, software and applications that exploit the extraordinary power of quantum computers based on their quantum mechanical properties, such as superposition, interference and entanglement.
