We have a vacant position for a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical quantum physics, to work on challenges relating to superconducting spintronics. The position is in the group of Dr. Sol H. Jacobsen, in the Quantum Spintronics section at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology NTNU.

IFISC (Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems) is a joint research institute of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) created in 2007 building upon the former Cross-Disciplinary Physics Department of the Mediterranean Institute for Advance Studies (IMEDEA) dating from 1995. Its mission is to develop Cross-Disciplinary and Strategic Research in Complex Systems following the established scientific approach of physicists.

The Theory of Quantum Systems Group invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researchers in the theoretical and computational condensed matter physics group of Prof. MichaƂ Nowak. The research involves modelling of topological superconductors, superconductor-semiconductor heterostructures, topological Josephson junctions with the aim to focus on quantum transport and nonreciprocal phenomena.
