PostDoc

We offer an 18-months post-doctoral position (with possible extension) for a motivated theoretical researcher to join our work on the application of machine learning to quantum sensing and imaging. Our goal is to push the limits in detecting individual nuclear spins by utilising advanced signal processing techniques such as adaptive Bayesian estimation and deep learning.

As part of Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) project “Q-COAST (https://anr.fr/Projet- ANR-19-CE48-0003)”, a postdoc position based in Paris region, will be opened in fall 2022. The successful candidate will work under the joint supervision of Nina Amini (CNRS, Université Paris- Saclay), John Gough (Professor, Aberystwyth University), and Madalin Guta (Professor, University of Nottingham).

The Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS, http://quics.umd.edu) is seeking exceptional candidates for the QuICS Hartree Postdoctoral Fellowships in Quantum Information and Computer Science.

Are you looking for an opportunity to shape the future of quantum computing? With superconducting quantum computers on the verge, we want to strengthen our research at the Walther-Meißner-Institute (WMI – wmi.badw.de)  of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Technical University of Munich (http://www.tum.de) and offer a team lead position within the Munich Quantum Valley (http://www.munich-quantum-valley.de) and the German quantum computing project MUNIQC-SC  (t1p.de/8c6h).
