Introduction to the field
We have openings for talented early-career scientists with strong track record in experimental and theoretical quantum physics and are ready to take up a leadership role in the group to spearhead new research initiatives. As part of the team, there will be ample opportunity to explore your own ideas and participate in grant-writing processes.
Potential projects for experimentalist include: bosonic superconducting quantum systems, quantum error correction, materials for quantum computing, implementation of quantum algorithms on qudits, and many more!

1 year (up to 3 years) Post-doc position in cold atoms group in Krakow supervised by Jakub Zakrzewski with close collaboration with project leader Maciej Lewenstein's group as well as other groups in Dynamite (M. We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc for the quantum information experimental research with trapped-ion systems.
We have two research topics (with supporting grants);
- An efficient ion-photon interface for quantum network
- A full-stack trapped-ion based quantum computing system with up to 5 qubits.
Proven expertise in AMO experiments and/or embedded systems will be valued.
