Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

To share science and increase social exchange now that some of us are stuck at home, Q|uarantine Talks, organized by Joseph Bowles, Felix Huber, and Felipe Montealegre-Mora, propose regular video talks and discussions. If you would like to give a talk, an introduction into a method, or have a discussion on some topic we would be most happy for you to join. Simply pick a slot and add your name. You can still remove your entry or change slot later if you want.

Please note that events are entirely self-organized. The current list of events can be found at

The next planned event is: Marcus Huber, IQOQI Vienna, 2:00 PM CEST, Device independent quantification of entanglement is not always possible

Fermilab seeks outstanding applicants for a post-doctoral Research Associate position working on the ADMX search for axion dark matter particles and R&D towards future axion detection experiments. This position is aimed at exceptional recent PhD recipients with a proven research record from prior experience in experimental particle physics or astrophysics. Applicants with backgrounds in cryogenic detector development or quantum information science may also be considered. Fermilab is the lead lab for the ADMX-G2 experiment. In addition, Fermilab is actively involved in R&D on several new methods to detect axions taking advantage of new quantum sensor technologies. This position provides the opportunity to participate in the development of new projects targeting dark matter, and related detector R&D capitalizing on the broad range of scientific, computing, engineering, and technical expertise available at the laboratory.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in experimental quantum optics and quantum information at Laboratoire Kastler Brossel (LKB), in Paris (France), in the research group led by Prof. Julien Laurat.

Research Associate in Quantum Imaging at Imperial College London

- Job description
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Quantum Imaging research team in the Department of Physics. The post will be associated with UK’s Quantum Imaging Hub. Applicants will be enthusiastic experimentalists with experience in quantum optics or nonlinear optics.

PhD Studentship on Diamond-Based Quantum Networks

Through the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme - NQIT, we offer a fully funded PhD studentship at the Cavendish Laboratory of the University of Cambridge. The studentship comes with a well-funded research programme with additional funding available for research visits to leading research groups in this field worldwide.
