Postdoc positions in quantum algorithms and/or quantum machine learning with NISQ devices

A fully funded PhD position is available to work in the Thermodynamics and energetics of quantum systems group (QuSys) in the School of Physics at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland lead by Prof. John Goold. The group is a dynamic, International and gender-balanced bunch working on the cutting edge of the field. The research interests of the group are available on the group website: http://www.tcd.ie/Physics/research/groups/qusys/

The Faculty of Sciences at H.I.T. –Holon Institute of Technology (Israel) invites applications for postdoctoral positions in mathematical and theoretical physics funded by the Israel Science Foundation. The successful candidate will be involved in the projects on

☐ quantum chaos theory in many-body systems, led by Dr. Boris Gutkin;
☐ random matrix theory and quantum chaos, led by Prof. Eugene Kanzieper.

Applications are invited for the above post based in the School of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Nottingham. The successful candidate will carry out experimental research and technological development of quantum sensors.

The specific research focus is the development of optically pumped magnetometers (based on cesium atomic vapor) and their applications including medical applications. The project is funded by the EU/EPSRC QuantERA project: Continuously Monitored Quantum Sensors: Smart Tools and Applications.
