Industrial PhD position at Jeppesen linked to Chalmers University of Technology and the Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology on the topic “Quantum Algorithms for Near-Term Technology: Potential and Limitations”.

This is a permanent employment offer at Jeppesen, a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, and one of the largest software development companies in Gothenburg (Sweden).

I am happy to announce the opening of two 18-month postdoc positions (extendable) in Theoretical Photonic Quantum Computing at the Physics Department of the University of Florence, in the group of Prof. Leonardo Banchi. The two positions are funded by the EPIQUE project, a large European collaboration between different theoretical and experimental groups. The successful candidates are expected to develop new applications and benchmarking techniques for the photonic quantum computers that will be constructed during the project, and to collaborate with the other groups.

a Postdoc position is open in the field of simulations of curved spacetime (aka analogue gravity).
A sizable track record and publications in analogue gravity research is required.
