We are pleased to announce the 2012 CoQuS Summer School at the University of Vienna, devoted to the interplay between quantum mechanics and gravitation! This year's edition will be focused on four series of lectures held by international experts on both theoretical and experimental aspects of gravitational and quantum physics :

· Carlo Rovelli (Marseille, FR) giving an introduction to quantum gravity for quantum physicists

· Philippe Bouyer (Bordeaux, FR) , on experimental gravitation and geophysics with matter-wave sensors

Two chapters of Advanced Topics in Measurements published by InTech March 2012 using variant construction to show positive evidences to resolve wave-particle duality and Bohr-Einstein debates on the foundation of the Quantum Mechanics.

In relation to classical Young double slits experiments, EPR model, Bell Inequalities, Feynman Criteria and Bohr-Einstein debates, a set of predictions and conjectures are suggested.

There are two interesting and partially overlapping events in the UK at the end of March 2012.

One is a full workshop in Oxford, running 26-30 March, where a number of high-quality European speakers are invited, and is funded by US Office of Naval Research.

Cooperative Behaviour at the Quantum Light-Matter Interface

We are seeking a Post-Doctoral researcher to work at the interface of cold atoms and quantum optics. This is a prestigious two-year fellowship to study collective strong coupling of light and matter in an optical ring resonator.

The experiment aims to:
• Demonstrate collective strong coupling of potassium atoms in a high-finesse cavity
• Examine the cooperative mechanics of cold atoms in dynamical optical lattices
