Faculty Recruitment in Quantum Science and Technology:
Applications are invited from highly motivated and outstanding candidates for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in the Centre for Quantum Science and Technology (CQST) at Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), Chennai.
Preference will be given to candidates working in the following areas:
Areas of Research Interest
• Quantum Computing and Quantum Simulation
• Quantum Machine Learning and AI for Quantum Technologies
• Hardware-Aware Quantum Computing and Quantum Software Development
• Quantum Sensing and Quantum Metrology
Qualifications and Experience
Ph.D. in Quantum Information Science, Quantum Computation, Computer Science, Experimental Quantum Science, or related disciplines from a reputed Institution, with strong research record evidenced by high-quality publications in reputed international journals.
Expectations from Candidates
• Establish strong independent research programs
• Contribute to interdisciplinary collaborations within CQST
• Supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students
• Participate in national and international collaborative research projects
• Contribute to the development of quantum technology research infrastructure
