We are looking for a highly motivated Ph.D. student to work in the following fields:

- Quantum neural networks.

- Developing new quantum machine learning protocols. Problems o interest include quantum state preparation, quantum feature detection, or developing hybrid quantum architectures."

- Resource theory of quantum machine learning.

The successful candidate will join the Quantum Thermodynamics, Computation, and Information Group at the University of Granada (Spain). Our group is part of the Carlos I Institute of Theoretical and Computational Physics that includes top physics groups of different fields (https://ic1.es/index.php/en/institute-carlos-i-for-theoretical-and-compu...).

The position will be 3 years long and it is expected to start by February/March 2022.
