The Micro and Quantum Systems (MQS) group is located in Micronova, the nanofabrication facility of Aalto University. Our research interests span from quantum technologies to nanoscale transport phenomena and nanotechnology-based green energy production.
Our current research topics include:
- Quantum computing and algorithms
- Semiconductor quantum optics
- Nanoscale thermal engineering and thermoelectrics
- Plasmonic nanoparticles
In addition to research work, we participate actively in teaching, especially in the frameworks of Quantum Technologies B.Sc. program and Electronics and Nanotechnology M.Sc. program.
