quantum communication

Institute for Quantum Computing, Waterloo, OQCT Group (Lutkenhaus)

History: Our group started out at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2001 (though it has roots to the Helsinki Institute of Physics from 1997), and relocated to the Institute of Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo in 2006.

Our position in the research landscape: Our group explores the interface between quantum communication theory and quantum optical implementations.

Quantum Computation and Information Project, ERATO-SORST, JST

ERATO-SORST Quantum Computation and Information Project, funded by Japan Science and Technology (JST) Agency, conducts wide area of research related to quantum information science. We proceed our studies in collaboration with active research groups on quantum information theory and experiment in U. Tokyo, NII, NEC Labs, and other research organizations.
