Post-doctoral Fellow in Theoretical Quantum Information Science in the University of Hong Kong
Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Physics, from as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science. The appointee is expected to conduct research on theoretical quantum information science and quantum cryptography in the group of Professor H.F. Chau. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Professor H.F. Chau (e-mail: hfchau@hku.hk).
FREE Webinar: One-dimensional quantum wire: physics and applications at ultra low temperatures
Oxford Instruments and IOP invites you to join an informative webinar on one-dimensional quantum wire: physics and applications at ultra low temperatures, to be held on thursday, 26th March at 15:00 GMT (16:00 CET, 10:00 EST), presented by two speakers:
8th International Conference on Information-Theoretic Security
ICITS is a conference about all aspects of information-theoretic security and brings together the leading researchers in the areas of cryptography, information theory and quantum information. It is the successor conference to the 2005 IEEE Information-Theory Workshop on Theory and Practice in Information-Theoretic Security (ITW 2005) on Awaji Island, Japan.

QuSoft / CWI Amsterdam / University of Amsterdam
QuSoft is the Dutch research Center for Quantum Software, a collaboration between the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI). Its mission is to explore and develop uses of quantum computers and other quantum technologies, for the benefit of society. The researchers at QuSoft develop algorithms, software and applications that exploit the extraordinary power of quantum computers based on their quantum mechanical properties, such as superposition, interference and entanglement.

Mathematics and Quantum Information
The group "Matemáticas e Información Cuántica" started in 2006 with the aim of exploiting the relations between Mathematics and Quantum Information. Currently it is formed by 2 senior members, 7 postdocs and 3 PhD students.
Concerning financial support, the group has now a grant from Plan Nacional de I+D, one European Grant and one grant from Comunidad de Madrid.
