Postdoctoral positions are available at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC, https://uwaterloo.ca/institute-for-quantum-computing/), University of Waterloo (UW), in the field of superconducting devices. The positions are with the Superconducting Quantum Devices (SQD) group and will be supervised by Adrian Lupascu. The positions are focused on two broad areas: improving coherence of superconducting devices and quantum sensing.

Summary:
A PhD position is open in Quantum Matterwave Optics on Crete. The successful candidate will work for at least three years together with two PhD students on our Bose-Einstein Experiment (BEC1). The salary will be 3200EU gross.

We are inviting application for a PhD position in Quantum Matterwave Optics.

WHY JOIN OUR BEC GROUP ?

Head of Quantum DTU Center
Do you want to take part in realizing the potential of a new and revolutionary technology?

DTU, Technical University of Denmark is seeking a dedicated person to head our cross disciplinary Quantum DTU center.

DTU has considerable activities with quantum technologies reaching from leading edge research on quantum based communication, quantum computing over quantum based sensors and fabrication of quantum devices.

The Quantum Nanophotonics Laboratory is led by Ikerbasque Research Professor Gabriel Molina-Terriza. We are a team of scientists endeavoruing to unveil the physics of the interactions of quantum light and matter at the nanoscale. We experiment with exotic states of light such as single photon states, entangled photons or squeezed states of light and force them to interact with very small structures. We aim to control the quantum features of nanoparticles by exploiting their interaction with light.

This position is embedded in the research project QUANTUS‐IV MAIUS, which is carried out by the QUANTUS collaboration of seven German Universities and Research Institutes. QUANTUS (“Quanten‐gase unter Schwerelosigkeit”) is funded by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and aims to investigate ultra‐cold quantum gases in microgravity.
