The group led by Prof. Radim Filip at Palacky University (http://muj.optol.cz/filip/) is offering positions for highly creative, open-minded and engaged

two PhD students and two junior postdoctoral researchers

The Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Ulm invites applications for PhD and postdoctoral positions in theoretical quantum physics.

Several openings will be available in the recently awarded 5 year Reinhart Koselleck Project of the German Research Council to Prof Martin Plenio for which we are seeking applicants with an interest in

- signal processing methods applied to nanoscale NMR and quantum sensing,
- quantum sensing with colour centers in diamond, and
- DNP based on diamond quantum technologies.

There exists a prestigious and well-funded Scientia PhD scholarship for a student to undertake research on optical neural networks with application to quantum systems at the University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia. The project will be undertaken under the supervision of A/Prof Andrey Miroshnichenko, Prof Hussein Abbas's, and Dr Matt Woolley. The scholarship includes a stipend of \$AU41,209 per annum for four years, a travel allowance of up to \$AU10,000 per annum, and covers all tuition fees.

We offer a 3-years PhD position for a motivated researcher to join our work on spin qubits in silicon carbide (SiC). Colour centres in SiC have recently be shown to uniquely combine excellent spin properties with ultrastable optical transitions for spin-photon interfacing (see, for example, our collaborative work publish in Nature Communications 10, 1954). Our goal is to develop optically-active spin qubits directly operating at telecom wavelength, providing building blocks for the future Quantum Internet.

There exists a prestigious and well-funded PhD scholarship for a student to undertake research on the theory of acoustic modes interacting with superconducting qubits at the University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia. The project will be undertaken under the supervision of Dr Matt Woolley, Dr David Powell, and A/Prof Andrey Miroshnichenko. The scholarship includes a stipend of \$AU41,209 per annum for four years, a travel allowance of up to \$AU10,000 per annum, and covers all tuition fees.
