Applications are invited for a two-year postdoctoral position at QICI Quantum Information and Computation Initiative of the Department of Computer Science, The University of Hong Kong. The start date is flexible.

Two postdoctoral positions are available in the group of Quantum Information Theory at KAIST. The successful candidates will work in the research group led by Joonwoo Bae, in topics of fundamental aspects of quantum information theory and their applications to communication, metrology, and computation. One of the two positions is to be jointly affiliated to the group of Beatrix Hiesmayr, University of Vienna (Austria). The topics include quantum protocols, entanglement theory, quantum channels, open quantum systems etc.

The Quantum Machines Unit is a newly established research Unit which focuses on the theory and experimental development of quantum machines. This includes a wide range of quantum devices ranging from quantum assisted sensors, e.g. gravimeters and magnetometers, through to quantum interconnects (connecting up static and flying quantum information), and quantum memories. We have the following positions immediately available:

We are recruiting postdocs to build a quantum computer at the Wallenberg Center for Quantum Technology

Become part of our design and verification team with the mission to demonstrate NISQ algorithms on our superconducting quantum processors. You will work in close collaboration with the use-case development and modeling work in our theory team and with the superconductor quantum technology and process development team.

*Work at distance employment possible starting from May 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter, deadline rolling until the post is filled*

Applications are invited for a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in a joint post between the Departments of Computer Science of The University of Hong Kong and the University of Oxford.
