Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

The positions are in the group of Dimitris G. Angelakis in the Centre for Quantum Technologies Singapore (www.dimitrisangelakis.org). We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong research background and a PhD in theoretical quantum optics/physics and/or and/or quantum simulation and quantum computation and/or quantum many-body systems.

Postdoctoral Position in “Quantum simulation, quantum algorithms and quantum machine learning” in CQT Singapore

The Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies invites application to a 2 year postdoc scholarship in quantum foundations. The candidate will be working under the supervision of Dr. Sabine Hossenfelder on a project supported by the Franklin Fetzer Fund.

In the framework of a DFG-project, a PhD position is available and to be offered to highly motivated student who intends to enhance her/his scientist carrier in the field of semiconductor quantum optics. She/he should have a high interest in basic experimental research and like working in an interdisciplinary environment. The research will be carried out in the Nano Optics group at the Institute of Nanostructure Technologies and Analytics, INA.

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented postdoc willing to join the team undertaking the "First Team" research project entitled Integrated optics in time-frequency domain: a new versatile platform for quantum technologies, funded by the Foundation for Polish Science. The project aims at research in the field of theoretical condensed matter as well as theoretical and experimental quantum optics. The research is carried out in international collaboration with groups from the University of Oxford (United Kingdom) and the University of Paderborn (Germany), with support from companies: Raith, Airbus Defence and Space, GMV Innovating Solutions, Lambda System and Semicon. The team is hosted by the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw.
