Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

This is a fellowship scheme funded by Aberystwyth University, the Welsh Government and the European Union. It is aimed at researchers with 3-5 years post-PhD experience (no exceptions) and comes with a 2 year appointment. To be eligible, you have to have spent no more than 12 months in the UK over the last three years (0 months is fine!), and applications can be from anywhere in the world.

Two postdoctoral fellowships and two PhD student positions are available in the Baugh group at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC), University of Waterloo. We anticipate 2-year postdoctoral appointments, with the possibility of a 3rd year, contingent on performance and funding. These appointments may begin as early as September 2017. Excellent candidates are sought with an experimental background in semiconductor devices, nano- and micro-fabrication, and cryogenic transport measurements.

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Ph.D. student willing to join the team undertaking a new, 3-year "First Team" research project entitled Integrated optics in time-frequency domain: a new versatile platform for quantum technologies, funded by the Foundation for Polish Science. The project aims at research in the field of theoretical condensed matter as well as theoretical and experimental quantum optics.

Skoltech's Quantum Software Initiative is currently offering Postdoc, PhD and Masters research projects to develop the theory and implementation of software that quantum computers will execute.
