The 2016 International Summer School on Quantum Information Computing & Control (QuICC) will be held between the 29th August and 2nd September at Lancaster University. This event is organised by students from the doctoral training centres at Imperial College London. It aims to bring together experimental and theoretical physicists studying quantum phenomena in a variety of systems.

The Quantum and Complexity Science Initiative (QuSCI) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is currently seeking talented research fellows to interface ideas from quantum information theory and complexity science. Primary activities include the adaptation of complexity theoretic ideas to the quantum regime, and the development of quantum protocols to model, simulate and understand complex systems.

Dear colleagues and friends,
two weeks ago many of you received the message below about the Quantum Manifesto. Up to now, 900 people endorsed it, but we would like to reach a few thousands endorsements.
I understand that not everybody is aware that endorsements are open to everyone who is working in our field in Europe, including each student of each group.
This is extremely important to show to European decision makers how strong the support from the scientific community is.
