We are looking for PhD students and postdocs to join the newly established Quantum Information Theory group at Jena University. If you are interested in joining our growing research team, then apply now!
Topics of interest cover the whole range from quantum information and computation to quantum many-body physics, with a focus on machine learning methods for quantum technologies and quantum simulation.
Further details and instructions can be found at https://mbqd.de/hire
The Department of Physics of the University of Napoli Federico II has opened one 3-year RTD-A (Ricercatore a tempo determinato di tipo A, Time determined Researcher - type A) in theoretical physics. This position is equivalent to a non-tenure track assistant professor. A two years extension is in principle possible, depending on funding, but in no way automatic or sure.
The application procedure (in bureaucratic Italian) can be found at

We would like to announce that registrations are open for the "VIII Paraty Quantum Information School and Workshop" (http://2023.paratyquantum.info/). After an unfortunate 2-year hiatus, we are very glad to announce the return of our beloved event, which will take place in Paraty, Brazil, from August 07 to 18, 2023.
We would be very grateful if you could spread the word of the event among your group and anyone else that might be interested.
The two-year master's program "Quantum Science" at the University of Siegen, Germany, is open for applications from students starting in October 2023. The program focuses on foundational and practical aspects of quantum science, ranging from basic research to applications and quantum devices. Current research topics of the involved scientists are
Applicants are sought for a postdoctoral position in the field of condensed matter physics and quantum many-body modelling, to develop novel computational methodology for large-scale strongly interacting electronic problems. The positions are to be held at King’s College London, UK, in the research group of Dr. George Booth.
KTH is offering a tenure track position in quantum optics applied to communication and sensing, including the development of experimental methods and systems utilizing squeezed states of light, supported by the Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology, WACQT, with a start-up package of 12 MSEK over 4 years.
