PhD position at the University of Vienna: Quantum Information Theory + High Energy Physics

The quantum information group at Freiburg University aims to fill one postdoctoral and one PhD position.

The research group (http://qm.ims.ac.jp/?lang=en) let by Prof. Yutaka Shikano at Research Center of Integrative Molecular Systems, Institute for Molecular Science, which is located at Okazaki, Japan, announces the opening of the Ph.D candidate position from October 2014 and the visiting Ph.D/PostDoc position for three - twelve months.

The research group (http://iqoqi.at/en/group-page-romero-isart) led by Oriol Romero-Isart at the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (Innsbruck, Austria) announces the opening of a PhD and a PostDoc position. PhD appointments are for up to 4 years, while PostDoc appointments are for 1+1 years.

The Quantum Computing Lab in the Centre for Quantum Computation and Intelligent Systems at the University of Technology, Sydney invites applications for PhD positions and expressions of interest for postdocs.

The QC lab works on a wide range of topics including, quantum Shannon theory, computational complexity, many-body physics, quantum error-correction, quantum simulation, and quantum computing architectures.
