We invite expressions of interest for a full-time postdoctoral positon in experimental atomic and optical physics in the Quantum Matter group at the University of Birmingham (UK). The project will run from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2024, with the formal advertisement and applications beginning in the next few weeks.

A postdoc position is available in my Lab at IQST University of Calgary.

We are seeking a talented postdoctoral research associate to work on an experimental project looking at evaluating quantum random number generators (QRNGs). This position is funded by the EPSRC’s Quantum Communications Hub and will be based at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington (London) in the Quantum Photonics team. The project will involve developing the necessary experimental understanding, expertise and techniques to test quantum photonic QRNGs.

The Angelakis group at CQT Singapore (www.dimitrisangelakis.org) is looking for a postdoctoral research fellow with a strong research background and a PhD in quantum information with a focus on quantum algorithms and applications. Candidates from quantum simulations and quantum many-body physics, or implementations of quantum computing may also inquire as well.

We offer a 2-years post-doctoral position for a motivated researcher to join our work on spin qubits in silicon carbide (SiC). Colour centres in SiC have recently be shown to uniquely combine excellent spin properties with ultrastable optical transitions for spin-photon interfacing (see, for example, our collaborative work publish in Nature Communications 10, 1954). Our goal is to develop quantum devices, integrating spintronic, electronic and photonic functionalities on a single chip, by exploiting the power of a technologically-mature semiconductor platform.
