A 3-year fully funded PhD position is available at the Quantum Information and Foundations Group (QUINFOG) of the Spanish National Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones CientÃficas – CSIC) in Madrid, Spain. QUINFOG is dedicated to addressing fundamental challenges in Quantum Physics and Quantum Information, with a particular focus on developing innovative quantum and quantum-inspired technologies. Our team is composed of young and dynamic scientists working at the forefront of quantum science and technology.

Two postdoctoral positions are available at the Institute for Quantum Computing (https://uwaterloo.ca/institute-for-quantum-computing/), University of Waterloo, in the field of superconducting devices. The positions are with the Superconducting Quantum Devices group and will be supervised by Adrian Lupascu.
We have openings for talented early-career scientists with strong track record in experimental and theoretical quantum physics and are ready to take up a leadership role in the group to spearhead new research initiatives. As part of the team, there will be ample opportunity to explore your own ideas and participate in grant-writing processes.
Potential projects for experimentalist include: bosonic superconducting quantum systems, quantum error correction, materials for quantum computing, implementation of quantum algorithms on qudits, and many more!
